Lake Michigan Adventure - and what is next?

Mel and I traveled to Sheboygan, WI to try our hand at King Salmon fishing. Mel's brother-in-law Herb Tyler is a retired teacher and wrestling coach. We stayed at Herb and Jane's home. Herb is only able to fish about 4 days a week. The other 4 days he has to shoot trap, run his dogs, shoot archery, and hunt artifacts. Herb took us out on his boat and showed this guy from the prairie what a downrigger is and how it works. Following are a few pics of our trip. We got weathered-out on the second day -- so we have been invited back to try it again.

Stay tuned for our next adventure which is to Canada for a second fishing trip this year. We will be fishing for lunker walleyes, huge pike, hog small-mouth bass and rock hang-ups. We leave on Sunday, September 4th. Venturing to Lac Seul North of Dryden, OT. check it out at www.sww-lodge.com
